A Daddy is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A daddy can be one
of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A daddy can be patient
and helpful and strong.
In all that you do,
a daddy's love plays a part.
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your daddy!
Thank you, Daddy...for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!
Thank you for chasing and playing hide and seek with me. -Tiegan
Thank you for playing catch and ball with me. -Kennedy
Thank you for wrestling with me. -Braden

Love you, Daddy!!!

My husband...
  • is the BEST hands-on Daddy to our three young'ins.
  • loves us unconditionally.
  • has a very BIG heart.
  • is a great provider for our family.
  • is very attentive to our kids.
  • isn't afraid to cry.
  • always makes me laugh!
  • makes us happy.
  • is very protective of our family.
  • makes us all feel safe.
  • sacrafices so much of himself for our family.
  • loves to play his guitar any chance he can.
  • is a BIG kid himself sometimes.
  • is caring and loving.
  • is silly and goofy.
  • shares in the responsibilities of the kids' needs and well-being.
  • expresses himself through song writing the most heartfelt songs about faith, love, life, and children.

We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Jennifer,
I think we started this great new tradition... if you blog about your spouse that replaces the need to purchase a card. We're doing our part... trying to help the environment by preserving paper? hehe

Byron is a BIG kid himself and likes to "stir the pot," but all in all, he REALLY is a GREAT DADDY!
